Legal Stuff:
All images, except for the scanned images of computer-related arcticles, are 100% original works done by the author of this page. I did not steal anybody else's artwork to create this website. I know that no one is ever going to want to distribute anything on here, but please do not do so without first contacting me and asking my permission. The arcticles about the .10GHz chip and the Affordable 486 were scanned from the July 1991 issue of "Compute" magazine. The rest of the arcticles were taken from the Nov. 1985 edition of the "Computer Buyer's Guide and Handbook" |

Now the Info Part:
These pages where created using Adobe GoLive 5.0 and Adobe Photoshop 6.0. These really are the best programs available for creating graphics and HTML. For most of the pages, I used tons of tables within tables within tables to create the ordered symmetical nature of the design. I would not attempt to read through the source code if I were you. It is ugly. But the effect in the browser is nice and I will not allow for the presence of jagged edges or having the layout change around when the resolution or window-size does. If you cannot fit 700 or 800 pixels horizontally on your screen, then I feel bad for you, and I also realize that not being able to view my page properly is the least of your computer-related worries. Feel free to email me even though I am sure that nobody will ever do it. I don't check this address often but if you are a legitmate and friendly person I will give you my real address if you ask for it. -dario |
