Dan Healy's Writings

In the course of going through the general education requirements in my first years of college, I had to write many papers on various topics. I wrote them all the night before they were due, but that never significantly detracted from the quality of the paper. "A hat trick," as my mom called it. Here they are, for what they're worth. I hope you enjoy reading them.

Verilog SDRAM Controller & Memory Tester - Not an english paper. This is my final report to my Advanced Logic Design w/Verilog class.

Linear Feedback Shift Registers - Also not an english paper. Wrote this to help my class understand a concept not taught by my professor. Beware, it's all sciency.

Communist Ideas in Capitalism - An English 101 paper, persuasive essay mostly about Marx and the Communist Manifesto. My english professor liked it so much, she gave it a perfect 100. It was the only perfect she gave to anyone in any of her classes that semester.

For Human Consumption: Genetically Engineered Food - My research paper for English 101. Score: 195/200. There are more errors than there should have been, but I made up for it in content.

Ernesto "Che" Guevara - A paper I wrote most recently for a Chicano Studies class. I am not as proud of it as I am with some of my other work, because it felt more like I was regurgitating other people's accounts rather than forming my own ideas.
