Adolf Fredriks Church, Stockholm

Located in the center of Stockholm, this beautiful church was completed in 1774. The organ is a 3-manual, 45-rank mechanical-action instrument built by Grönlunds orgelbyggeri. Take a break from high-tech networking and come listen to some great music. Reception to follow.

Directions to Adolf Fredriks Church:

Adolf Fredriks Church is located at the intersection of Sveavägen and Adolf Fredriks Kyrkogata.

From the Clarion hotel, walk Ringvägen Eastward (right) to the metro station (denoted with a T for "tunnelbana") about one block away. You should now be at Skanstull. Take the metro to Hötorget (the Haymarket). Any Northbound train will do (headings Hässelby, Vällingby, Åkeshov, Alvik are all OK). Hötorget is the 5th station from Skanstull. At Hötorget, take the North (forward) exit Olof Palmes Gata from the platform, and in the ticket hall, use the left exit (still Olof Palmes Gata). You will end up in the street intersection of Sveavägen and Olof Palmes Gata. Continue North (same direction as you're walking) along the big street Sveavägen. The yellow church is on your left after one block.

See the following map. The church is in red. Metro stations are marked with "T":
